Blogging
In my view, it is much easier to use a blog as a way of discussing our course and all that has happened and is going to happen using a full physical keyboard. The advantages of blogging are that you can create formatted text containing images and links to the web more easily.
WhatsApp (Messaging)
In my view WhatsApp is ideal for quick messages and sharing of a single image, video or audio file. Also good for arranging meetings, although that can be done more easily if people share calendars.
